This event, jointly organised by the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency and NHS Improvement will explore key themes in the patient safety arena, with a particular focus on collaboration between MDSOs and MSOs to develop synergies in meeting the patient safety agenda across all organisations.
This year's theme is effective networking and exchange of good practice in championing patient safety

The event will start at 10am (registration from 9am) and finish by 4pm.
Register now for the opportunity to:
- develop increased knowledge of changes and developments in the patient safety landscape
- develop skills in bringing together MDSOs and MSOs to promote joint working for patient safety
- understand examples of changes and improvements to practice from the ground up
- contribute to the continuing shaping of the national agenda to support MDSOs and MSOs and champion patient safety
- dialogue with NHS Improvement and MHRA
- network and exchange ideas on good practice
- disseminate examples of local practice through submission of a poster.
MSOs and MDSOs are invited to submit a poster and chosen topics will feature in both poster and oral presentations, which will form the basis of the afternoon. For more information please click here.

Please note we can only except one Medication safety officer and Medical device safety officer per NHS Trust, NHS Foundation Trust or organisation which provides NHS funded care.
